About the
H project
After 10 years of design experience and several thousand Douze cargo bikes on the roads of Europe, we decided to change our production methods. To design and produce better, to limit our environmental impact while maintaining the same level of quality, we started from scratch.
H for hexagon: eco-design
We rethought everything from the outset, starting with a Life Cycle Analysis of our historic frontload cargo bike. By calculate model's impact, from creation to end of life, we were able to mature our processes and produce the first eco-designed range of frontload cargo bike.
Producing in France
After more than two years of study, research and meetings, we're proud to announce the launch of our new cargo bike, whose various frame parts are produced locally in France. By selecting our partners on the basis of their expertise and proximity, we are working to re-industrialise the French cycle industry.
Responsibly
By developing a moulded aluminium frame, most of which comes from the French recycling industry, we are taking up the challenge of sustainable production. For the polymer parts, we favour recycled materials with a low environmental impact.
Anticipating as much as possible
Built to last. An H range is an assembly of several completely independent and interchangeable parts. Change the part, don't change the bike. We've studied the composition of each sub-assembly for optimum, easy repairability. Once the cargo bike is out of use, it has been designed to be easily dismantled and sorted to maximise recyclability.
